Today’s sketch was inspired by a sketch that I did some time ago. I wanted to start drawing a little bit larger than my small SketchBook. So I rummaged around my office and I found a sketchbook that was larger. As is typical fashion I usually get sketchbooks and I draw one or two drawings and them every few years, but I never fill them up. This challenge on Facebook to draw a sketch everyday has really inspired me to draw consistently every day. 
The drawing that inspired my sketch for today was drawn sometime between 2007 and 2011. Those are the two sketches on either side of this drawing. I was tempted to just finish the drawing that is the inspiration for today sketch. But once again I decided to plagiarize myself and redraw this beautiful organic being.
