This is day 3 of this drawing. This first image is what I have completed this morning. I’ve been listening to a lot of Allman Brothers lately and I decided that I’m going to call this picture Elizabeth Reed.
Normally I get this much detail when I have a piece of illustration board. I like doing the small sketches because they are quick relative to spending two months drawing on a large piece of illustration board. I have to be careful on this paper to not get too much build-up with the color pencils, which are wax based.
