I’m working on the face. I have the lower jaw. 90% complete. I’m listening to a playlist that is Spotify singles that were recorded live in the studio. There’s a lot of great music and it’s really inspiring me as I draw the face of the sea dragon.

Well, I’m finally in the home stretch. Today I started working on the head. I’m actually making the teeth the same color and textures as the toes. I’m really glad that I can start seeing an end to this very long drawing.

I’m finished with the front leg pretty much. Tonight I started on the back leg. I’m finally getting to the point where I’m going to start drawing on the face possibly this week.

I think I’m done with the toes and I’m moving up on the lower front leg. Another Milestone has been reached the front toes are done.

Today I started working on the toes of the front leg. I’m going to work from the bottom up on the front leg until it’s finished. Then I’ll move on to the back front leg.

Today I was working on the light and dark blue stripes. I kind of think of this is a metal armor that shows through the dragon skin. I really like doing this effect I’ve done it a couple times on the drawing.
